Emmie's 2nd Birthday

We had Emmie's 2nd birthday party at My Gym on Saturday. She had such a good time and I think all the other kids did too! We had a great group of kids there...she's so blessed to have such sweet friends!

They did one of Emmie's favorite puppet shows! (3 little monkeys sitting in a tree)

  


After the puppet show Emmie was supposed to ride in the wagon with a birthday hat on while they paraded her around. She did NOT want to ride so she came out pulling the wagon...haha! Christina (Jackson's mom) finally got her to ride in the wagon...and put on the hat for a few seconds!

Elmo cupcakes! Emmie helped me bake and decorate these and all she had talked about for 2 days was wanting a cupcake and I kept telling her she had to wait for her party...then she didn't even eat it! She was so obsessed with the goldfish crackers!

This picture is blurry but it's the only one I have of the great-grandmothers and I think it's pretty awesome that Emmie has 2 great-grandmothers AND they were both able to be at her party! On the left is Paul's grandmother (Mammy) and on the right is my grandmother (Grandmother). (Apparently they coordinated outfits ahead of time!)



Jackson was supervising Grandaddy's picture taking...probably a wise decision.

After the My Gym party the family cooked out at our house and Emmie opened her presents. She got some really fun presents...we've slowly been taking them out to play so it's like having a birthday everyday!

My parents gave her a little car...she has had the BEST time with it! I must say it was pretty entertaining to watch Fred, my dad, and Paul put it together!
