Bathtime!

Emmie and Ellie were both really tired tonight (and so was their Mama!) so since Paul was home at bathtime I decided we would bathe them together for the first time so that everyone (Mama included!) could get in bed earlier. We put Ellie in the bumbo in the bathtub. Someone had to hold the bumbo down so I couldn't use this method if I was by myself with the girls but it worked well with two adults doing bathtime!

Emmie and Ellie had the BEST time playing together in the bath. We got some of the giggles on video but the best giggles were before the video camera was turned on!

We kept telling Emmie not to splash Ellie in the face but really that was what Ellie liked best!

We also got Emmie on video singing her ABCs. They still need some fine tuning but it's pretty cute! (In this recording "h" makes an appearance towards the end...normally "v" gets mentioned twice at the end...perhaps she has a new favorite letter!)

The memory card ran out at the end of this recording and while I was deleting old videos off the card Emmie launched into Amazing Grace but sadly she was done singing by the time we got the video camera running again...oh well...perhaps next time!
