Birthday Weekend

Last Saturday we had Emmie's 6th birthday party!  I had a weak moment a few months ago and agreed to let her have a bounce house at our house. In December. It was almost 80 degrees. Not even kidding. The kids were complaining about being HOT. In December! I was so, so glad that it wasn't raining! So we had a bounce house and the kids played on the swing set and we did face painting and an ornament craft. My parents came to help out and it was nice to have some extra hands to help. Emmie had a great time at her party!

It was Emmie's special week at school so she got to bring Boomer the dog home so he got to hang out in the bounce house too!

On Sunday after JP's baptism we had Emmie and Ruthie's family party. They loved being celebrated with almost all of their family around them (and Uncle Ben and Ruth facetimed so they could join in the present opening!).
