On Wednesday we met Ivy and Kerri at the Children's Garden. We're trying to get in lots of playdates with Ivy because they'll be moving to Greenville in January. Ivy's dad Casey got promoted and will be working in Greenville and we're very happy for him but very sad for us...Emmie, Ellie, and I love hanging out with Kerri and Ivy. There's a joke in my family that if you have a daughter Emmie's age who she plays with on a regular basis you move. Rebekah and Addison moved to NC, Kristi and Liv moved to NC, Allison and Julia moved to Alabama and now Kerri and Ivy...at least we can visit them when we're in Greenville. Oh, and by the way, Emmie's dad got promoted too!!! Yay! This also means that Paul will be working back in Columbia starting in January which is very exciting for all of us...we might actually get to see him more than on the weekend. (Well, I see him during the week but the girls are usually in bed by the time he gets home.) We are so proud of Paul and very excited about his new opportunity (and I'm really glad that we get to stay in Columbia...the idea of trying to move with 2 children under the age of 2 is not very appealing!).
Anyway, back to Wednesday. We had a gorgeous day to play outside and the weather was so nice we stayed for over 2 hours! We also took Franklin and he had a blast running around chasing bugs!

Someone probably spent a lot of time filling these huge pots up with dirt...Emmie spent a short amount of time dumping it out by the handful...I finally convinced her to take dirt from one pot and put it in another one but she managed to get quite a bit on the ground before I intervened...oops.
Emmie was all about giving Ivy hugs.
