Dance Recital

Today was Emmie's dance recital. She has been in the Creative Movements class this year at Bailey Fine Arts. Her class is for 3-5 year olds and they do tap and ballet. For the recital her class did tap. We have absolutely loved BFA. Everyone there has been so wonderful and we loved Emmie's teachers, Mrs. Cari and Miss. Devon. Emmie will do Creative Movements again next year and Ellie gets to join her!

Emmie did such a good job at her recital today and we were so happy that Gran, Grandaddy, GG, and PaPa were able to come watch. Ellie and Ruthie were so well behaved during the performance...it was pretty impressive. I think Ellie really enjoyed watching all of the other performances. BFA had three different recital times today and we loved watching all the dancers who performed during the first session. Ellie was so sweet, after Emmie's recital she ran up to her and gave her a big hug...she was so proud of her big sister!  Emmie and Ellie both got pretty daisies from GG and Papa, pineapple flowers from Edible Arrangements from Gran and Grandaddy and Emmie got sunflowers from us (they're her favorite!). She was thrilled with all her flowers!

Ruthie was so good...she definitely enjoyed watching all the dancers (in between her nap!).

We ordered a video of the recital as we weren't able to video during the recital but we were able to video the dress rehearsal at the studio earlier this week. Emmie did even better today than she did in the rehearsal! She told Paul that she loved being on stage :)





(Aren't you impressed that nobody fell over during the kick line at rehearsal or at the recital? I think we were all holding our breath today when they were doing it!)
