On day 6 we headed back for a second day at Magic Kingdom. My dad was done with his conference by then so he was able to join us! Our fast passes for that day were Jungle Cruise, Enchanted Tales with Belle, and Peter Pan's Flight.
We got there right around the time the park opened and as soon as we walked in to the park the girls spotted a meet and greet with Tinkerbell so we headed over to do that.
Next we went to Jungle Cruise. I was super excited because I love Jungle Cruise and it had been closed earlier in the week because of damage from Hurricane Irma. The kids loved their boat ride! We also hit up many of our other favorites that morning. (Including my mom's favorite, the Enchanted Tiki Room.) Ellie wanted to go back to Haunted Mansion so she and Paul and my dad went to that and the rest of us enjoyed It's a Small World and the Carousel.
JP LOVED Aladdin's Flying Carpets! |
We had "breakfast" reservations (at 11:30) at Grand Floridian with Pooh, Tigger, Mary Poppins, Alice, and the Mad Hatter. The meal was great with the Mad Hatter being quite funny! I was sad that I was at the buffet when Mary Poppins came by...she's one of my favorites!
After breakfast we headed back over to Magic Kingdom. JP enjoyed our trip because we took a boat each way!
While we were at breakfast my parents had gone to Animal Kingdom because my dad had managed to snag a Flight of Passage fast pass.
It was pretty hot when we got back to Magic Kingdom and JP was fast asleep so we headed to Tomorrow Land and found some water and then Paul, Ellie and Ruthie headed to the speedway so ELlie could have a turn driving. While they were at the speedway I took Emmie and JP to the People Mover. Emmie told me she liked it...it was more her speed! JP woke up right after we got on the ride and he loved it as well!
She waved at everyone like she was in a parade..hilarious! |
We had afternoon fast passes for Enchanted Tales with Belle. Paul got picked to be a suit of armor, Ellie was the beast (she was SO excited!), Ruthie was chip and Emmie was a picture frame.
We had an early dinner at Cinderella's Castle so after riding some more rides we headed over to the castle area to get ready. We had brought princess dresses for the girls. They each got to pick what they wanted to be. Emmie was Rapunzel and Ellie and Ruthie were Ariel.
We had a delicious dinner at the castle! The girls all got wands and JP got a sword. Someone who doesn't have kids apparently thought it would be a good idea to give these out BEFORE you eat. We quickly confiscated them! JP got restless at the end of dinner so I took him out and we headed over to get Dole Whips for dessert. We met up with my parents and while I waited for Paul and the girls to finish up dessert at the castle they took JP on It's a Small World again. We then hit up a few more rides including Emmie's favorite, the People Mover! We were hoping to get to do Buzz Lightyear again but the wait was pretty long. After the People Mover we headed out of the park, said good-bye to Gran and Grandaddy (they were leaving the next morning) an managed to make it on a bus before everyone else left the park.
It's a wild ride! |
