On Halloween the girls had dance and then we headed home to Trick-or-Treat! Emmie's friend Emma and her parents came over to Trick-or-Treat with us and we had a great time! We took JP with us to the houses right around us and then he and Paul went back home to pass out candy.

Paul said JP had a great time handing out candy! The girls had a BLAST trick or treating and most houses were loading them up with candy! Ellie is my kid with a big sweet tooth and at one house the lady told the kids to "grab a handful" and "dig in". So Ellie came back with two heaping handfuls of candy! Ruthie was always very quick to inform people that she had a peanut allergy and ask them if the candy was "peanut free". My big girls also made an effort to only get peanut free candy so they could eat it at home. They were also very quick to trade Ruthie if she ended up with candy that had peanuts in it since they can have the peanut candy in their lunchbox at school. By default, Emma also ended up with mostly peanut free candy. Amanda, Emma's mom, texted me a few days later saying she tried to raid Emma's candy bucket and there was no peanut candy (like Reese's or Snickers...the good stuff!)! So be warned, if you go trick or treating with us you'll have a lot of M&Ms and Skittles! Funny Ruthie story. About 2/3 of the way through the neighborhood she told me she didn't want anymore candy. She still walked up to the next house though and so I held out her pumpkin...she got so mad! She said "I said no more candy!".
