Tuesday Ruthie had her first field trip! We went to Fox Farm in Lexington and we had so much fun!
They had a playground for the kids to play on, a hayride, animals for the kids to pet, and a pumpkin hunt!

Ruthie LOVED the hayride and ended up getting to go twice. JP didn't complain but he apparently didn't love it as he opted not to go the second time.
They had so many animals to pet and feed. Neither Ruthie nor JP wanted to feed the animlas. Ruthie was willing to pet most of the them. JP was much more selective. He opted to pet the pigeon, the little bunny, and the sheep. He was really excited about the sheep! He was funny because his favorite book right now is Moo, Baa, LaLaLa so when we saw the pig he pointed and said "lalala". I cracked up! I explained that was what a singing pig said...this was just a plain old regular pig!
The cutest little donkey! |
JP loved the sheep. |
Ruthie LOVED "hunting" for her pumpkin in the hay. (It was a really cute idea but oh the hay "dust" flying around...I was so itchy and stuffy the rest of the day...ugh!) JP didn't want to hunt for his so Ruthie found him one too. They were both thrilled with their pumpkins!
How cute is JP's little outfit? I was worried he wouldn't get to wear it as the weather has been so warm! |
