Nine years, 1 fur baby, 4 human babies, and 1 minivan later I'm still so in love with this guy! It hasn't always been easy and we've had our share of disagreements and frustrations but I know that no matter what at the end of the day we love each other and we're in this together for the long haul.
Paul is a wonderful daddy to our children. I think he was pretty scared of that first little girl but he has been such a good girl daddy and it's been fun to watch him learn about tea parties and princesses. It has also been so fun watching him be a boy dad over the last 14 months! We've quickly discovered it's a whole different world raising a little boy!
I couldn't have asked for a better husband. He works hard all day and then comes home and helps with bath and bedtime and clean up. He keeps our kids on Saturdays that I work and takes them to golf lessons, birthday parties, and any other event they have going on. The other moms are pretty sure he's super dad!
Nine years ago we celebrated this day with a lovely wedding followed by a very fun party with our family and friends. Today our celebration looks a lot different...refereeing arguments, giving baths, herding children, reading bedtime stories and getting sweet snuggles from our babies (including the furry one who's curled up in my lap right now). So much has changed yet our love for each other is still there. I can't imagine juggling the craziness with anyone else!
