JP Swim Lessons

JP LOVED the  dog at swim lessons!

Last week JP had swim lessons. He talked a big game the whole week but the first 3 days he cried through the whole swim lesson. After day 1 I asked him: did you have fun...yes!, did you kick your feet...yes!, did you put your face in...yes!, are you going back tomorrow...NO! Haha! Sorry buddy...yes you are! By day 3 if we asked him if he was going to cry he said...yes!
Day 4 (the last day) he actually didn't cry most of the time...I was so proud of him! I think it was because there was more "swimming" and less "dunking".


My goal for his swim lessons this year was for him to learn to hold his breath when he was going under the water...mission accomplished! I was so proud of what he'd learned and the fact that even though he would cry, when they counted 1,2,3 he would hold his breath and go under.

SO TIRED! Swim lessons wore little buddy out!

Ruthie started swim lessons on Friday and it was really nice to go to swim lessons and not listen to crying!
