JP's Greenville Trip

On Easter Sunday JP left North Carolina and went back to Greenville with my parents so he could have a some special time by himself with Gran and Grandaddy. He was VERY excited (he had been with GiGi and PaPa 2 weeks before and had quickly figured out it was pretty fun to be the only grandchild).

He helped Gran make waffles...and then enjoyed eating them!

They went to Runway Park and Grandaddy came and met them for lunch at Runway Café.
JP loved watching this plane take off!

If you don't have your own plane you just have to make do with running up and down the "runway"!

He who sits in the drivers seat is king of the playground. My mom said once JP got in the drivers seat it took him a long time before he got out!
The kids always get to go to the store and pick out a toy for themselves and then a small toy for each of their siblings. The girls love getting a present for everyone but when JP went to Summerville was NOT a fan of having to pick out something for the sisters. So my mom decided to let him get Pelican's coins for each of them. The girls were thrilled and JP of course managed to get himself a Pelican's snocone when they went to get the coins.
My mom took him to Jellybeans to get a haircut.

SO handsome!

He loved his Jelly Beans balloon! My mom said when we got ready to come back to Columbia he kept giving her things and one of the things he gave her was his balloon. We think he might have been thinking that if he left a bunch of stuff in Greenville he could come back soon!
They went to Chick fil A for lunch.

And of course he got lots of outdoor play time. He talked for days before he left about getting to play with Piper (the little girl next door that is his age)!

some spoons and a bucket of water...always entertaining
Practicing his golf swing.

He didn't want to shop for his sisters but he was thrilled to shop for himself! He picked out this squirt gun and then got to squirt Grandaddy! He was so excited when he was telling me about it!

JP had so much fun in Greenville. After being alone with both sets of grandparents he's decided that getting undivided grandparent attention is a wonderful thing!
