Pastries with Parents

Last week we had Pastries with Parents at preschool. Paul and I loved seeing all the things Ruthie made for us. She has been working hard on her gifts!

JP was happy he got to tag along!

Our vase had a Ruthie handprint and little fingerprint bumble bees on it and she made the flowers inside the vase.

Paul thought maybe the green part was his muscles. Ruthie quickly assured him they were sleeves not muscles. Lol! She keeps us humble!

This picture right here means so much to me. See that little cinnamon roll? There was a plate of little pastries and a few weeks ago we would have either had to skip over it or ask about the ingredients in every single item. If we'd skipped over it Ruthie would never have said anything but her little shoulders would droop and she would have been a little sad. It's hard to be different and have to miss out on things. BUT because of OIT Ruthie was able to pick whatever she wanted off the plate and we didn't have to ask what was in the items! She was SUCH a happy girl when she realized that she didn't have to worry!
