Ellie takes the Stage!

I love her headshot!

Ellie has been taking theater class at Town Theatre this year. She has absolutely LOVED every minute of it and we have loved seeing her find her niche! This weekend the youth classes at Town performed Disney's My Son Pinocchio. Ellie was a fairy, a child, and a lamb. She had speaking lines as a child and a lamb and she was SO excited! She had a show last night and one today. We all went to the one today, along with the grandparents (it was a super special treat to get Grandaddy here during tax season!) and Ellie's teacher and her daughter came as well.
Ready for the first show!

Fairy ( I helped backstage the first night so I got to get pictures of her in costume!)

The hair is a little crazy bc it was the end of the show!
Her teacher, Mrs. Estes, and Anna. Ellie was SO excited that they were able to come!

JP refused to get in the family picture. He decided to photobomb the grandparent picture instead. He can be such a little brother sometimes...lol!

Ellie did a great job with her lines and she absolutely sparkled on the stage. I just love seeing her so happy and having so much fun. I also love how animated and out going she is on the stage because she's so often overshadowed by her louder siblings at home.

So thankful for the teachers who nurtured our little actress all year...Mrs. Megan and Mr. Scott.

Emma and Ellie. Ellie was so glad to have a buddy to do theater with this year (and we were really glad to have friends to carpool with...it truly does take a village!).
Side note: That rip in Ellie's tights? Early on in the show tonight she ended up accidentally getting knocked over when the kids were running out onto the stage. She hit the stage hard but was a true professional and hopped up and kept going!

Ellie is already looking forward to being a part of the shows next year and we can't wait to see her shine on the stage again!
