The New Normal

This is usually the Monday that my mom has chemo (today was supposed to be her last dose) but at her doctor's appointment last week the doctor decided not to do another dose so instead of spending the morning at the cancer center we went to the park!  Much more fun of course! 

While we were at the park a school group came...they were book buddies...and when they came into the playground area they stood in a line listening to the teacher's instructions and Emmie went over and stood in line with the other kids and listened to everything the teacher said!  It was so cute!

We are so glad that my mom is done with chemo and is cancer free!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!  I was going to go with her to her last chemo but getting to hang out at the house and the park with her and Emmie and Franklin was much more fun!
